Bucket List

So - it has been a while since I last posted, but I thought I would start back up again with a post about my bucket list. I am going to start putting all the things I want to do before I die on my blog with a tag called 'Bucket List'. That way I can always refer back to it in the event that I have time, money and nothing else to do. Here is the start:

• Go visit Centralia, PA (home of the Centralia fire)
• Walk 'The Knife's Edge' in Maine
• Visit Italy with CJ
• Go back to China with CJ and Sam
• Go to New Zealand and do the 'Adventure Day' (whitewater rafting, jetboating and Bungee jumping)
• Go to Boundary Waters or Watersmeet or Borwon Lake Circuit for a week long canoe trip
• Do an extended trip on the AT

Making Strides

My wife and daughter are going to be walking in the 'Making Strides Against Breast Cancer' walk on October 10. This is an awesome fundraiser for a really good cause. If you can support them in their endeavor, please do so!

Earth Expedition

I ran across this today and thought is was worth the rant. This guy is walking 18,000 miles to raise money and awareness for a massive percentage of the global population that does not have access to clean drinking water. Through an organization call Blood:Water mission ( which was founded by the band 'Jars of Clay'), $1.00 can provide water for 1 person for a whole year! Anyway, it moved me. Enjoy!!
