Earth Expedition

I ran across this today and thought is was worth the rant. This guy is walking 18,000 miles to raise money and awareness for a massive percentage of the global population that does not have access to clean drinking water. Through an organization call Blood:Water mission ( which was founded by the band 'Jars of Clay'), $1.00 can provide water for 1 person for a whole year! Anyway, it moved me. Enjoy!!

Food Inc.

This new movie is coming out to theatres in bigger markets called 'Food, Inc.'. Every time I see some sort of documentary about this topic, I do a little 'hanging my head in shame' that I am still eating like I am and allowing my family to do the same. In a round about way this led me to a 'TED' presentation by a guy named Mark Brittman on the same subject. Check it out:
